Mr. Creech has over twenty-five years of experience in the construction industry. At Carolinas Healthcare Shystem he has developed construction auditing programs for both corporate and regional operations. Audits included construction modifications and additions to hospitals, a 3,000 space parking deck, architecture professional services, medical office buildings (single story to 6-stories), a 7-story Heart Tower, a 12-story Children’s Hospital, a 9-story ICU Tower expansion, and a central energy plant. Mr. Creech is an expert at analyzing, interpreting and upgrading AIA contracts for Owners.
He was previously employed with E. I. DuPont de Nemours & Co., Inc. where he served as Cost Engineering Manager for the Southeast U. S., Corporate Fixed Asset Accounting Manager, Manufacturing Site Accounting Manager, and Site Contracts Administrator. At DuPont he had responsibility for estimating, project cost control (direct and/or managerial oversight of projects ranging from $250K to $100M), capital program cost management, contracts management, change order administration and control, and contract invoice reviews and approvals. Mr. Creech is experienced in many facets of construction cost and specializes as a highly ethical, qualified, independent, third-party auditor/consultant for owners. As a member of the panel of arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association, Mr. Creech has chaired tribunals on large international cases in New York and New Orleans. He is certified by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International as a Certified Cost Consultant (construction, architecture and engineering), and the Institute for Internal Controls as a Certified Internal Controls Auditor. Mr. Creech is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. Mr. Creech has previously served as both President and Treasurer of the Catawba Valley (Charlotte, NC) Section of the AACE International.
